‘The Heart’

(2025)

Raku reduction fired Ceramic sculpture

The Heart is a vessel of soul made tangible in clay. Shaped through fire, its iridescent surface reflects transformation, intimacy, and resilience. Fragile yet enduring, bodily yet otherworldly, it embodies the contradictions of being human. Emerging altered from the raku process, it stands as both artifact and allegory — a fragment of self marked by survival and change.
